It’s crazy times! Almost a full circle around the sun and we’re stuck wearing masks to protect each other from potential illness. I hate it. It totally sucks and I can’t give out ice cream samples because that requires you to take your mask off to eat it and it’s just not a risk I’m willing to take at this time for the safety of everyone in the store and anyone you may come in contact with once you leave here.
I pissed someone off yesterday because he completely ignored my “No Mask/No Entry” sign and proceeded to have an attitude because he felt inconvenienced. I’m sorry if you feel that you’re above this pandemic. This customer said, “All the news are saying you can be asymptomatic for 14 days.” That’s exactly why we want you to wear a mask when interacting with us.
I don’t know you. I don’t know your personal hygiene practices. I don’t know where your next destination will be. What I do know is that I’m trying to maintain an environment for all of my customers to safely shop without fear of potential infection from OTHER customers, so long as safe distancing protocols are adhered to.
I know we will get through this because we are resilient. Will we be able to go back to the way things were before C-19? I don’t think so but I’m hopeful…so long as everyone does their part to stay protected.
